Andi loves spring

Andi (my 10 month old poodle girl) loves the nice weather we have been having. She loves playing in the waterfall. The large daffodils are starting to bloom now. It won't be long before the peach tree flowers.

Spring Snow

Thursday of last week we had a high of 72 degrees and today Sunday morning we have 3 inches of snow on the ground. In fact, it snowed off and on all day long. Yesterday I took a pic of the pink flowers (grown from bulbs I planted years ago) that I can't remember what they are called. Today I am taking pictures of snowy landscapes and snow filled clouds. I am sure glad none of my fruit trees have blossomed yet.

Daffodils are bloming

The little short Daffodils that start growing in January are blooming. They are probably only about 4 to 5 inches above the ground. All my tall Daffodils are just now popping up from the earth. My poodle puppy loves playing in the St Johns Wort that stays green all winter long. I have no idea what she is looking for.

March is here

My March 1st yard doesn't look that much different from the February 1st yard until you look close. The daffodil's are coming up. The trees have little swollen buds that will soon flower or leaf out. The azalea is forming buds. The grass is starting to green up. The magnolia has little velvety buds forming. The offical start of spring will be later this month. But snow is in the forcast for the next few weeks.
