More Snow

SNOW

Winter is here. Look at all the snow we have gotten (11 inches so far) with more to come tonight. It has been cold with the high's in the teens and the lows -4* 's But the dogs love it. Good thing we bought a snow blower 2 years ago.

December 1st

It is the last month of the year..December. The snow has started to fall and stick because it is so cold. The Christmas lights are now up.

November is Here

Nice days and cold nights and leaves on the ground make up early November.

the End of October

The fall colors of October are every where.

October 1st

October and Fall go hand and hand. Last week it was in the mid 90's and today , October 1st, it was in the mid 60's. In fact snow is predicted for the coming week end.

Fall is Here

The end of summer and the start of fall is here. Apples will soon need to be picked and the roses are trying to get thier last flower blooms in. The birds are all getting fat in prep for winter. Leave on some trees are getting thier fall colors now too.

September 1st

Fall is just around the corner but the first of September is always that last blast of hot temps for the end of summer. There are no more peaches on the peach tree because the birds have eaten them all.

Sunny August Days

The apples are getting huge and the pears are joining them. Bees are getting pollen from from the Rose of Sharron flowers. The cali Lillies are blooming.

August 1st

I can't believe that fall is next month. What happened to Summer? The fruit trees are getting so heavy with fruit the branches are almost touching the ground. And it is HOT...high 90's.

Doves

Today we had a Thunder Storm with lots of Lightning ...there is a stick bug living on my kitchen window screen... I found 2 baby doves under the peach tree.

July Summer days

I think that July is the month my yard looks best. It is hot (near 1oo today) but with late afternoon breezes.

July is here !!

July is here and that makes the year 1/2 over already. I alway think that July is one of the months my yard is at it's best. All the trees and plants are so lush and full you can barely see the house. It is now hot..average temps in the high 90's.

Summer is Here

More of my plants are blooming now that summer is officially here. My poker plant has poker flowers and the roses are blooming. My St John's Wort is covered with blooms but one yellow flower was the first to break out. Can you see all the apples hanging over the water falls? It is gonna be a bumper crop.
