SNOW

Winter is here. Look at all the snow we have gotten (11 inches so far) with more to come tonight. It has been cold with the high's in the teens and the lows -4* 's But the dogs love it. Good thing we bought a snow blower 2 years ago.

Spring Snow

Thursday of last week we had a high of 72 degrees and today Sunday morning we have 3 inches of snow on the ground. In fact, it snowed off and on all day long. Yesterday I took a pic of the pink flowers (grown from bulbs I planted years ago) that I can't remember what they are called. Today I am taking pictures of snowy landscapes and snow filled clouds. I am sure glad none of my fruit trees have blossomed yet.

Light Snow

Such a mild winter we are having but we did get a touch of snow last night and this morning. It was all however melted by noon.

Happy New Year

Last summer as I watched my yard grow and change I decided to track a year in the life of my Nevada yard. But it was summer and I wanted to start at the beginning of a year. So I waited. Finally, it is January 1st and now I can start. Today was a very nice winter day. There is snow on the ground that hasn't melted from the Christmas (2008) snow storm. Clouds in the sky made for a really great sunset viewed from my back yard. BLS
